Why? Lysistrata?

okay,
so i was thinking about this journal question.
Why is it that only Lysistrata
comes up with this idea and not any other women?
Why does it seem like Abstinence from sex
is so easy for her to understand or..what i'm trying to say is,
how come she doesn't have a problem with it?
i thought about this question and
looked throughout the book, and saw that
she never once
spoke of having children nor a husband
which brings me again,
to another question.
Did she have a family?
Perhaps she was just a strong-headed woman
She's characterized as a really intellegent woman
and probably the only one with real brains. aha. j.k....?
from reading this play, i find that she (Lysistrata)
from her actions and her words, such as when she says on page 50,
"I warn you.We have four battalions behind us--full-armed combat
infantrywomen, trained from the cradle.."
like it shows us her thought process so to speak.
Like she has a plan and everything is plannned well.
just a thought ;]

There was no real evidence given on why it was Lysistrata out of all people to lead the women. I know that Lysistrata's masculinity helps her gain respect among the men and she seems to be the only woman who is not controlled by sex like the other women
